I spent some time noting the differences between some of the plants this morning. The Bahamian goat pepper has dark green, bumpy leaves with short stems. The leaves are clustered closer to the main trunk of the plant. They resemble the scotch bonnet plants I posted previously.
The scorpion pepper has much smoother leaves at the ends of long stems. They’re not as densely packed to the center of the plant as the Bahamian goat pepper is.
The ghost pepper is similar to the Bahamian goat pepper with short stems and rounded leaves. They’re not quite as shiny and are a lighter green color.
