Peppers – Day 67

The outside plants seem to be thriving.  I think they’ve acclimated to the new environment. I didn’t get anything repotted today, but I did manage to prepare a few pots.  The hard part is done.  I can enjoy doing the fun and easy part tomorrow.

Peppers – Day 65

A series of thunderstorms rolled through the area last night.  I was a little worried that the plants I moved outside would be unhappy this morning.  I was pleasantly surprised to find them in pretty good shape.  Even the droopy lemon drop peppers weren’t very droopy.

With some of the peppers moved outside, I have a little more room on my desk for the moment. Some of the plants are on the floor next to the desk.  My little grow light isn’t tall enough to work with the taller plants, so I put the light on my desk to shine down

The peppers I moved outside survived the night.  I discovered they had all wilted in the early afternoon, so I moved them into a shady spot and gave them a good drink of water.  By sunset, they had all perked up again.  I’ll leave them in this spot for a while.  They’ll get a couple

For one brief, shining moment it wasn’t raining!  I did a quick inventory of what plants I have (or think I have) and picked a few candidates to get into pots.  I chose plants that had buds or seemed mature and sturdy enough to stand up to being outside.
