The new mad hatters have managed to pull the seeds off of their heads as they’ve come up.  When I put them in the peat pods, I stuck the root and the seed into the soil and left the bend in the stem just barely sticking out of the soil.    I’ll have to make sure I do that with any new sprouts from now on.
